Making vanilla extract
My girlfriend and I bought some cheap vodka and a pound of extract-grade vanilla beans.
We (meaning mostly she) split the beans and shoved them into the bottle.
About 2 months from now, we should have some high quality extract at a fraction of the price!
Also, vanilla beans + milk = ICE CREAM tasting milk.

That's awesome. Do you have any plans on what to make using this vanilla extract? I think some cookies use it...
